Paune Serala originally comes from Bajura District. On January 2022 midnight 12:00a.m., he was on Duty. Due to the cold, he was warming himself in the fire. Suddenly he got convulsion and he fell into the fire. He got severely burnt. He received treatment in India. After 9 months he was brought to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for further treatment. His left leg has been amputated. BVS-Nepal have supported his medical treatment.
